This work is a new solo piece/monologue for theatre and other spaces that is (currently) about wealth, comfort and some of the effects of capitalism. Watch this space, as it is in early stages of development and writing, and will be performed for the for the first time in the beginning of 2011.

the next two days of everything


A solo performance for theatres and other spaces that was first performed in Oslo in April 2009 and is currently available for touring. The work tells stories of travel and sustainability, of environmental catastrophe, and of hope. Dates for performances of the work in Europe are currently being confirmed for Autumn 2010. Watch this space for more details.

innvandrer


A performance about moving from one country to another, innvandrer tells the story of what happened to a smith when he moved from the UK to Oslo in 2006. Currently touring in Norway, the work will be visiting schools and colleges in and around the South Trøndelag region in February of this year.

COLLABORATIONS

The Author/ENGLAND/An Oak Tree

Since 2005 I have been an associate of the writer/performer Tim Crouch, and have co-directed these three plays. An Oak Tree received a special citation OBIE award in 2007, and ENGLAND was the recipient of three awards at The Edinburgh Festival that year. hvor er du?/where are you?


A work on place, identity, and human geography made in collaboration with Amund Sjølie Sveen for performance in schools in Norway. Since 2007 the work has visited Norwegian schools in Oslo, Kirkenes, Narvik and Lofoten, as well as schools in Nikel, Russia. In 2010 the work has been invited to be performed in London at BAC, as well as further touring in Norway.
